Were on the lookout for aLead Software Engineerto head up a brand-new squad within ourManheim Vehicle Services (MVS)business. MVS processes over200000 vehicles annuallyfor major manufacturers finance and rental companiesthis is your chance to make a real impact at scale.
What Youll Do
- Lead from the front: Be a hands-on technical leader guiding a team of developers and QA engineers.
- Architect the future: Design and build scalable secure and high-performing systems using modern cloud-native technologies.
- Mentor and inspire: Help shape the next generation of engineering talent.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product managers architects and UX/UI teams to deliver exceptional digital products.
- Champion quality: Set the bar high for code quality testing and delivery standards.
Our Evolving Tech Stack
Were modernising from a .NET Framework monolith to a microservices architecture in AWS. Youll work with:
- Cloud: AWS (EKS ECS Lambda Aurora DynamoDB DocumentDB)
- Languages: .NET C# JavaScript Python
- Infrastructure: Terraform Docker Linux
- Frontend: React
- Messaging: Kafka SNS/SQS EventBridge
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions GitHub Enterprise
What You Bring
- Proven experience leading agile development teams.
- Deep expertise in .NET AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- A passion for clean scalable architecture and event-driven systems.
- Strong interpersonal skillsyou know how to bring out the best in people.
- A delivery mindset with a focus on value security and resilience.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with microservices TDD and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- A natural ability to juggle priorities and drive strategy.
