Job Profile: Junior Accounting Specialist (MS-Excel)
Location:Dsseldorf North Rhine-Westphalia Germany (hybrid)

Job Summary:We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Junior Accounting Specialist with strong MS-Excel skills to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will assist in various accounting tasks including data entry financial reporting and reconciliation. This role is perfect for someone looking to build a career in accounting and finance with ample opportunities for professional growth.
You will be part of the local accounting team reporting into the German Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry:Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets
- Financial Reporting:Assist in the preparation of financial reports using MS-Excel ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconciliation:Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Invoice Processing:Assist in processing invoices and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Compliance:Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Documentation:Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support:Provide support to senior accounting staff in various accounting and financial tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience:some initial experience in accounting or finance roles
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in MS-Excel including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP pivot tables and macros.
- Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills good communication and interpersonal abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Language Skills:Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
