Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Global Fleet team is building a world class last mile fleet and we are looking for a Senior Program Manager Vehicle Redeployment to join us. Global Fleet is responsible for ensuring we have the right vehicles in the right spots at the right time to meet our customer needs. The Sr PM Vehicle Redeployment own vehicle movement and reconditioning programs to ensure a world class fleet has the right vehicles in the right areas as well as continuous process improvement.
**Travel expectations are approximately 15%.
Key job responsibilities - Leads directs supervises and controls the execution of all business fiscal and administrative functions of the assigned program. - Comfortable in different roles sometimes supporting sometimes leading. - Work backwards from the customer introducing new ways to manage Amazon-owned equipment. - Scale new programs quickly and with high quality. - Deliver features/services to drive continuous value to customers. - Ensure key information cascades consistently and smoothly across stakeholder organizations. - Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers ops finance and other business teams to bring ideas to fruition. - Develop automated solutions in partnership with technology teams. - Is capable of taking accountability and driving planning resolution and execution with his/her team. - Responsible for defining and measuring internal and external performance standards. - Monitors and reports on the progress of all activity within the program area.
- 5 years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership - Bachelors degree
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience - Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
