We are looking for a Head of Sustainability for Telia Sweden. You will play an instrumental role in achieving our sustainability goals as we execute on our business strategy.

Ready to make better happen
As the Head of Sustainability at Telia Sweden you will coordinate and support the implementation as well as execution of Telia Companys sustainability agenda and ambitions in the Swedish operations. Sustainability is an integral part of the business strategy and is carried out by the many business units and functions within the company. You will be doing so through demonstrating strong leadership in building alignment coordination and follow up on progress of the sustainability agenda goals and commitments. You will guide and support the business as the sustainability expert prioritizing initiatives and identifying business opportunities.
In this role youll oversee and work operationally with sustainability data collection and reporting together with sustainability colleagues in Telia Sweden. Moreover you support the business with the quarterly and yearly sustainability reporting to the Group and consolidate the sustainability progress for internal and external stakeholders. Together with Group Sustainability and the local Finance unit youll ensure a high level of transparency and CSRD compliance as well as drive internal and external engagement together with Marketing Communications and the business units.
In addition to this you will be heading a virtual community consisted of sustainability professionals with various expertise and competence areas. You will report to Head of Legal Sweden.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the execution of Telia Swedens sustainability agenda in line with the Group strategy.
- Act as a sustainability expert guiding initiatives and identifying business opportunities.
- Manage sustainability data and support quarterly and annual reporting.
- Collaborate with Group Sustainability Finance and Communications to ensure transparency and CSRD compliance.
- Lead a virtual network of sustainability professionals; report to Head of Legal Sweden.
Is this you
Your strength is to combine strategic long-term work with day-to-day operational execution and to be able to do so you we need you to be a self-sustained organized and well-structured individual with strong planning abilities. You are very experienced in leading projects and teams with strong change management skills - a can-do attitude! You are keen to interact and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and you have an ability to translate complex information into an easy-to-understand language for your colleagues.
You are skilled in leading cross-functional teams in data collection work (for example in financial reporting or in audit fields) and integrating data and insights into the business operations. You have a relevant academic degree and good communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English orally and in written. Previous experience from a leading role in the sustainability field and/or from telco/ICT/tech industry would be an big advantage. Since Climate&Circularity is an area that continuously require a lot of focus we are looking for a leader that has knowledge and/or expertise in this area.
