About the Role
As a Grounds Assistant youll play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our campuses. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors takes pride in their work and is looking for a role with a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general grounds maintenance ensuring our campus remains beautiful and well-kept.
Train and guide part-time seasonal staff contributing to a strong and efficient team.
Timely snow removal of parking lot sidewalks in winter months
What Youll Bring
Ability to follow directions effectively and work independently when needed.
A positive and collaborative attitude when interacting with employees students and parents.
Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn general maintenance tasks.
Dependability and a strong sense of responsibility.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events and weather related activity.
Physical ability to lift carry or pull up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Prior grounds maintenance experience such as landscaping and gardening is preferred.
Reliable transportation is essential due to varied hours.
