Job Description

The Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients. S/he carries out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice medical direction and hospital policies procedures and standards. Looking for daily challenges and endless learning opportunities Then maybe a career on the Birthing Suite is the opportunity you seek. On their 8-bed LDRP unit they deliver over 350 babies annually. Candidate will be cross trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite. You will work alongside a well established OB/GYN and pediatric group in a collaborative team environment and will assess plan organize supervise provide and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing Experience a MUST! AWHONN Required8 Bed UnitRatio - 1:1 (active labor)1:2/3 for Mother/BabyNO OR/C-Section knowledge required
