CLASSROOM TEACHER / HS GIRLS COACH
HS ELAR
2025-2026 School Year
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual emotional physical and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
This position will be a dual assignment as an English teacher and a girls coach. Please indicate all areas you are certified to teach.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements ELAR 8-12
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
- CDL School Bus license or ability to complete this summer
