- Salary: 29.36 39.24 AUD base per hour.

About The Role:
- We are looking for experienced cleaners who areflexible and prepared to cover different shiftsto relieve staff on leaveandcover during busy periods.
- The purpose of this role is to provide cleaning services and waste removal according to the policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Environmental Services Department.
- The cleaner is required to liaise with staff and customers (nurses patients visitors) concerning the service provisions.
About You:
- Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of infection control principles.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
- Ability to support the needs of the housekeeping department working independently or as a member of a team.
- Previous experience with a variety of cleaning equipment.

About The Mater:
In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital North Sydney.
- One of Sydneys premier private hospitals.
- Close by to train stations at North Sydney St Leonards and Crows Nest and buses on Pacific Highway.
- The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
- Core specialties include Obstetrics Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements bone and sports injuries cardiology cancer care and surgery lung and vascular medicine ear nose and throat surgery urology endocrine surgery and neurosurgery.

Please note visa sponsorship is not available for this position. For this role you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants you the work rights necessary for the role.
