Operations Manager, External Fulfilment

Join our team and play a pivotal role in launching and expanding our External Fulfillment program in Australia. You will be at the forefront of building partnerships influencing stakeholders and driving the success of our sellers in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.

External Fulfilment (EF) team is seeking highly motivated Operations Manager for launching and expanding EF program in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our carriers and selling partners interactions and expansion of the program. This will be a diverse and highly visible role requiring a strong aptitude for building partnerships with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders at every level of the business. You will establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a fast moving ambiguous and high-pressure environment relentlessly advocating for our sellers with partners who have multiple competing priorities.

Interfacing with the Tech Retail Supply Chain Transportation and Operations team you will contribute to the development of customer-centric fulfillment.

This position requires full-time in-office presence 5 days per week at our CBD location.

Key job responsibilities
- Contribute and lead expansion projects within the Australia External Fulfillment to support business and selection growth
- Scope develop and implement end to end technical/business solutions for new EF nodes
- Own the performance of the EF nodes and responsible for success of sellers on boarded in EF programs.
- Work with our transportation team to identify opportunities to launch new carriers and manage performance of our integrated carriers
- Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure for each integration that requirements and resources both internal / external are available to deliver success
- Develop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across various Amazons teams
- Support and manage critical relations with external partners from the initial phase of the project to its execution and train them to the required Amazon processes
- Possesses combination of practical and intellectual skills and an ability to shift and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex analyses and hands-on project and operations management
- Strong focus on quantitative data working with large datasets and able to use the appropriate software for this scale
- Willingness to travel to EF sites

In this role you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our fulfillment operations. You will work closely with various teams including Tech Retail Supply Chain Transportation and Operations to develop customer-centric solutions. Your day will involve leading expansion projects implementing technical and business solutions and ensuring the success of our sellers. You will also engage with external partners manage carrier relationships and contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.

- Bachelors degree
- 5 years of experience in operations retail and/or consulting with a history of owning/ driving results

- Strong data analysis skills with experience in SQL Visual Basic and Power BI
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable business insights
- Proven track record of successful project delivery within scope time and budget
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining high quality standards
