Job Overview
Were seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Assistant Manager to lead our store and housekeeping teams during mid evening and weekend shifts. This role is essential in upholding Trails reputation for pristine facilities and outstanding customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader passionate about inspiring others ensuring operational excellence and occasionally performing physical tasks to keep our center spotless.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate store and housekeeping staff fostering a customer-first culture that reflects Trails high standards.
- Facility Upkeep: Oversee and participate in maintaining our pristine facilities including restrooms showers Skol Tavern and Taco Bell ensuring they meet our award-winning cleanliness benchmarks.
- Customer Service Excellence: Engage with travelers to deliver personalized service resolve issues promptly and create a welcoming environment.
- Operational Management: Manage daily store operations including inventory cashier duties and compliance with safety and cleanliness protocols to keep Trails running smoothly.
- Hands-On Support: Perform physical tasks as needed such as cleaning restocking or organizing store areas to lead by example.
- Staff Development: Train and mentor team members to uphold Trails exceptional service standards ensuring consistency in service.
Qualifications
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading teams in retail hospitality or service environments.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive attitude capable of meeting managing priorities independently.
- Hands-On Work Ethic: Commitment to performing physical tasks including cleaning to maintain our industry-leading standards.
- Customer-Focused: Passion for delivering exceptional service that keeps customers coming back.
- Retail/Service Experience: Some experience in retail or food service (e.g. like Taco Bell) is preferred a plus but leadership and dedication are paramount.
- Flexibility: Availability for mid evening and weekend shifts with flexibility a schedule that adapts to operational needs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with team members staff customers and customers management effectively.
