SUMMARY:
The Director of Institutional Effectiveness under the general supervision of the Senior Vice Provost and SACSCOC Accreditation Liaison leads the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. The Office of Institutional Effectiveness develops manages and facilitates processes related to academic program development and approvals including those associated with SACSCOC Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Texas A&M System and internal guidelines. The Office develops manages and facilities processes associated with institutional effectiveness reporting and continuous improvement. The Office manages SACSCOC accreditation reporting including facilitation and management of campus-wide efforts in support of fifth-year and reaffirmation reports. The Office assists the Director of the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) with the planning resourcing and execution of the QEP. The Office is responsible for maintaining and operating the Nuventive Improvement Platform and collaborates with the Registrars Office in maintaining and operating the CourseLeaf curriculum management system.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides IE area status updates to the Senior Vice Provost/Accreditation Liaison.
- Oversees and supervises activities performance and provision of training to IE professional staff student workers interns and graduate assistants.
- Oversees coordinates and organizes all of the documentation for IE including template creation organization review formal recordkeeping and maintenance of documentation on an ongoing basis.
- Analyzes verbal or statistical data to prepare relevant and appropriate reports and studies.
- Oversees coordinates and responds to project-related emails.
- Oversees the creation and dissemination of IE-related information.
- Organizes prepares for and attends various meetings related to regional accreditation and institutional effectiveness.
- Organizes prepares for facilitates and presents at informational meetings and trainings for University leadership faculty and staff as needed to support best institutional effectiveness practices .
- Assists and organizes the IE Leadership Team to support their efforts in the Colleges Schools and Divisions.
- Provides IE status updates and reminders to University IE Leadership Team members and other institutional stakeholders.
- Corresponds with IE Authors and Leadership Team members during the plan and results writing and submission process upon completion and in preparation for upcoming institutional effectiveness cycles and accreditation needs.
- Oversees and performs work with specialized software (e.g. Nuventive Improvement Platform Xitracs) to assimilate and publish SACSCOC accreditation and faculty records reports in a timely manner.
- Maintains a collection of regional accreditation documentation for the University and summarizes project results.
- Develops standard processes for organizing and disseminating reports documentation required for accreditation publications and other relevant information.
- Supervises and assists with compilation and production of reports using multiple applications.
- Seeks out increased knowledge skills and abilities as needed to successfully complete job-related work.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in applicable field.
- Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Six (6) years of directly related experience in assessment accreditation or other directly related higher education experience. Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research techniques. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel word ppt outlook). Strong interpersonal skills. Must be detail- oriented with strong organizational skills. Must project a professional image at all times and able to meet deadlines despite interruptions.
- Ability to: Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding. Ability to perform tasks accurately with minimal supervision.

PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:
Masters degree seven (7) or more years of related experience in assessment accreditation or related higher education.
SUPERVISION OF OTHERS:
Program Approval Coordinator/Assessment Specialist Faculty Reporting Coordinator/Administrative Coordinator and student workers interns and graduate assistants in the IE area.
