Deputy Nursery Manager Up to 30000 Driver Required

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team. Located in a beautiful setting the nursery offers a warm nurturing environment where children thrive so a driving licence is essential due to the location.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated early years professional looking to take the next step in their career and play a key leadership role in a setting that truly values high-quality care and education.

As Deputy Nursery Manager you will support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery. Youll help lead a motivated team ensure compliance with the EYFS framework and contribute to creating a safe stimulating and inclusive learning environment for every child.

Your leadership will help shape the care development and education of young children and support staff to reach their full potential.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood care.
  • Excellent interpersonal organisational and team leadership skills.
  • Passionate about creating an environment where every child is celebrated and supported.
  • Driving licence and access to transport is essential due to the nurserys location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the daily operational management of the nursery.
  • Lead by example to maintain a positive inclusive and child-centred environment.
  • Oversee curriculum planning ensuring activities align with EYFS and promote learning through play.
  • Supervise and mentor staff supporting their professional development and performance.
  • Build strong supportive relationships with parents and carers through effective communication.
  • Assist with safeguarding procedures health and safety and quality standards.
  • Contribute to inspections audits and continuous improvement plans.
