As our innovative business continues to rapidly grow we are seeking for a full-time Production Worker for the Seafood Processing Division at our Richmond location. Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Production Worker is responsible for processing fish. If you can work in a cool wet fast-paced environment and under pressure with minimal supervision we would love to hear from you!

Position: Full-Time Permanent

Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00am - 12:30pm. In September the shift will change to 5:00am - 1:30pm.

Wage: $19/hour

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lift fish into boxes and partially filled baskets of fish

• Label boxes

• Push rolling buggies loaded with baskets of fish

• Load fish fillets into bags

• Feed fish into the machines

Requirements:

• Reliable means of transportation

• Comfortable working in a cooler/freezer environment

• Experience operating a forklift is an asset

• Ability to walk and stand for long periods

• Ability to learn and be trained in new skills and concepts required for the job

• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures is an asset

• Effective verbal and listening communications skills to connect with the team

• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
