About the Role
Are you interested in assisting the emergency response of affected communities in the aftermath of a disaster TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current emergency management experience to join our team of teachers in delivering a course that skills volunteers on how to expertly manage an emergency scenario.
The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help construct guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
About You
- Willing to join an exciting team of emergency management teachers
- Strong experience in emergency management response and coordination of volunteers
- Industry experience working in crisis management (natural disasters COVID-19 pandemic etc)
- Coordinating and working with volunteers to plan and implement emergency responses
Desirable
- Possession of PUA60120 Advanced Diploma Public Safety (Emergency Management).
Please note that possession of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 isnot mandatoryto be considered for this position.
