Please note that we are currently hiring for all shifts (day 7a-3:30p swing 3-11:30p overnight 11p-7:30a).
Compensation and Benefits:
- $20-22 per hour depending on experience

Accountability:
Accountable to the Menlo Park Program Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Has a working knowledge of programs services and community resources.
- Completes required trainings within 30 days of hire (CPR Blood borne pathogens food handlers etc.)
- Builds trust and respect with Villagers and staff through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions.
- Responsible for knowing and following policies and procedures including program agency and building specific policies.
- Responsible for knowing and following procedures in emergencies and critical incidents.
- Responsible to maintain accurate logs shift reports and neighbor records both manually and in Apricot.
- Assists Villagers with making appointments when needed.
- Performs rounds of facility regularly during shift.
- Monitoring the neighbors behavior.
- Responsible for clearly communicating breaks and lunches with team on shift.
- Maintains assigned station during scheduled rotation as directed or as needed.
- Helps keep Village clean and organized as needed.
- Responsible for cleaning up biohazards using appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Builds and maintains neighbor/community satisfaction with the services offered.
- Maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations.
- Conducts self within appropriate expected professional boundaries and policies.
- Maintains confidentiality of Villagers and staff.
- Attends all assigned trainings and meetings unless otherwise approved.
- May participate in special projects and activities.
- Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
- Represent Cultivate Initiatives to various stakeholders and community partners.
Qualifications:
- Being physically present at the SRV for the duration of given shift.
- Ability to reliably show up on time and stay for duration of shift.
- Basic computer skills and ability to utilize mobile apps
- Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or religious exemption.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous shelter or peer support experience.
- HMIS data entry experience
- Valid Drivers License
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
- Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels from quiet offices to louder industrial settings.
- Work requires the ability to perform cleaning duties requiring the full range of body movement.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
