Job Description
The Solar Project Construction Manager plays an integral role in the renewable energy project construction sector overseeing the planning execution and completion of solar energy projects. This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders including clients contractors and team members to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and according to specified quality standards
This position is an onsite/hybrid role in Grand Junction CO area
What youll you do:
In this role youll take the lead on solar and BESS installation projects from start to finish. That means working closely with clients to understand their needs planning and coordinating every phase of the project and making sure everything runs smoothly on time and within budget.
Youll manage procurement of key equipment like solar panels and inverters and youll guide a team of engineers construction professionals and subcontractors to bring each project to life. Along the way youll ensure compliance with all relevant regulations keep a close eye on budgets and help identify and manage any risks that come up.
When a project wraps up youll lead the close-out processmaking sure all documentation is complete evaluating the projects success and capturing lessons learned for the future.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in construction management renewable energy engineering project management and environmental science or equivalent technical degree/experience
- 5 years of hands-on experience in solar and BESS System project planning execution and oversight is crucial
- Budget management team leadership and communication skills
- Unquestioned business and personal integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Installation Professional certification

- This position pays between $120000 and $145000 annually and is an exempt position.
- Benefits offered include company sponsored medical dental vision and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement voluntary life disability critical illness accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
