Job Description

New England Academy Beverly is seeking a licensed school counselor for the 2025-2026 school year (permanent position). Overall Responsibilities:The School Counselor is a multi-faceted role encompassing individual therapy and group therapy. The School Counselor will work with students who have social and emotional disabilities low self-esteem and general school difficulties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Individual therapy with studentsDevelopment of individual therapy plans with studentsGroup therapy leader development of group therapy curriculumFamily communication and treatment planningWriting and implementation of in I.E.P. meetingsWriting and updating student progress reportsAssisting in student supervision during breaks Coordination and communication with the students outpatient treatment team membersNew England Academy is a Ch. 766 private special education college preparatory non-behavioral school for students in grades 7 12.
