Starting pay: $17.00 USD

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the carpets wood tile and concrete floors and public area furniture of the property.

ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but is not limited to the following)

  • Responsible for vacuuming extracting and spot cleaning carpets throughout the property.
  • Responsible for stripping top scrubbing damp mopping dry mopping and buffing of all wood tile and concrete floors throughout the property
  • Responsible for extracting all chairs and stools as necessary
  • Responsible for thorough cleaning of the machinery as necessary after assignments are completed
  • Reports all equipment malfunctions to the Executive Housekeeper
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Must be available for all scheduled work

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to understand written English to read caution signs safety notices chemicals and Supervisors instructions
  • Must be able to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations policies and procedures
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests
  • Must possess knowledge of use cleaning and breakdown of equipment
  • High School diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)

  • Work may be performed in an area which may be unusually noisy and crowded
  • Mobility to include bending reaching prolonged standing and walking accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
  • Normal sense of smell touch sound and vision range
  • Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
  • Work area is subject to variable temperatures
  • May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise

GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS:Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values service standards and family style service.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence have excellent communication skills and observation skills and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off nights weekends holidays and overtime as needed.
