The Selling Enforcement for Regulatory and Safety Compliance (SERSC) team within RISC is seeking a Risk Manager to help safeguard customers and stores from unsafe offensive and non-compliant products while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
This role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls and procedures to ensure that only safe and compliant products are available in our stores. The Risk Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives with Legal Business Risk and International teams to enforce compliance policies and proactively address risks impacting our marketplace.
The ideal candidate will have a bias for action comfort with ambiguity and strong ownership over their work. They will engage with a wide array of stakeholders lead high-impact internal initiatives and play a visible role in protecting Amazon customers and sellers.

- 4 years of compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience - Bachelors degree or equivalent - Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent - Experience in program or project management
- 3 years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience - Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials - Experience in program requirements definition together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
