The Program Coordinator supports the implementation and coordination of programs and services for the Ole Miss Opportunity (OMO) Scholarship Program and first-generation students at the University of Mississippi. This role supports the planning and delivery of initiatives that enhance academic success student engagement and retention. The coordinator serves as a point of contact for students collaborates with campus partners and provides logistical and administrative support for events and outreach efforts.
These essential functions include but are not limited to the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
1. Assists in managing daily operations of the projects programs or office to which assigned.
2. Establishes and/or maintains a recordkeeping system for programs projects or office to which assigned and enters data into records or into system databases as appropriate and as needed.
3. Plans and develops methods and procedures for implementing projects.
4. Establishes and maintains productive relationships with state federal and private agencies as appropriate and as directed.
5. May coordinate events or conferences from planning and advertising to contracting for services from vendors to registration and event completion.
