JobDescription
Theentry level structural engineer willperform structural analysis oftowers mounting systems rooftops water tanks and buildings forthe addition of wireless telecommunication antennas and other willalsoassist theprofessional engineer in the designof steelframeconnectionsstairsystems platform systems other miscellaneous building structural itemsandtowermodifications fortowers inover-stressedcondition as required. Formal reports will be prepared to effectivelycommunicate structure configurationcodecompliance designspecifications andcapacities tocustomers. Fabrication drawings will bereviewed tobeinconformance withthe designs andcommunicatewith thedetailingteam whatcorrections oralterations arerequiredtomeet design will include maintaining project timelines effective communicationwith piersandmanagement on project statusandaccurate technical reporting and problem solving both fabrication and field items that arise post design.
EssentialFunctions:
- Performs engineering analysis design andcalculations forstructural designoftelecommunicationinstallations on towersmountingsystems buildingsconcrete foundations rooftops platforms water tanks etc.
- Performsengineeringdesignandcalculationsfor structuralandmiscellaneoussteelsystems ofvarious buildings and structures.
- Evaluatesdesignsforoveralleffectivenesscostreliabilityandsafety.
- AdheretoapplicableQualityControlprocedures.
- Developstructuraldrawingsandreinforcementdetailsforwirelessstructures.
- Reviewfabricationdrawingsforconformancetodesignspecifications.
- Provideaccurateprojectstatusreportingtofacilitateaccuratecustomerreporting.
- Assistinthedevelopmentofengineeringtoolsandprocesses.
- Reviewrequestsforengineering servicestodeterminethatadequate information isprovided to complete service.
- Generate required engineering reports.
