As a GMAL for scientific communication youll be instrumental in developing external engagement and scientific communication strategies for breast cancer (BC). Youll support the launch and lifecycle management of assets within the BC Cancer portfolio ensuring alignment across global congress engagement and digital strategy. Collaborate with Medical Franchise Heads and stakeholders to create compelling scientific narratives and educational content. Your role will involve coordinating with brand teams to develop internal global communications and education plans crafting narratives across diverse scientific materials and leading the team in developing impactful scientific messaging frameworks. Youll manage multiple projects autonomously deliver the Global BC Congress Strategy lead digital strategies and ensure compliance with AZ standards. Are you ready to lead the charge
Essential Skills/Experience
- Minimum of Masters degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent medical/scientific qualifications and/or significant industry and/or therapeutic experience.
- At least 4 years of experience within pharma/life sciences and/or medical experience (e.g. significant clinical/academic/medical affairs agency roles/organizations).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience of multi stakeholder management.
- Experience of delivery of medical plans and strategic medical initiatives.
- Ability to influence others without authority.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of drug development and commercialization processes including understanding of outcomes research/payer access issues.
- Proven ability to generate analyze and interpret clinical trial and published data.
