Job Description Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a strong interest in scientific research to join our team in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. As a Research Analyst you will play a crucial role in supporting and contributing to a research program focused on hearing loss and public health/epidemiology. Job Description
Job Duties:
30% - Conduct data analysis using regression and other statistical models and approaches. This will include evaluating model assumptions and interpreting and summarizing results under the direction of the principal investigator.
20% - Contribute to preparation of manuscripts/presentations and grant proposals for internal and extramural funding announcements.
15% - Prepare data sets for analysis including pre-processing and cleaning data.
10% - Perform literature reviews and prepare tables charts and other reports.
10% - Draft protocols and analytic plans for new complex research studies under the direction of the principal investigator.
5% - Draft Institutional Review Board documentation for new and ongoing research studies.
5% - Develop approaches or procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy in data collection processing management and analyses.
5% - Provide technical expertise and support to the research team.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Requirements: A bachelors degree with statistical courses and three years experience in statistics.
