Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Install maintain and repair electrical systems in compliance with NEC OSHA and oilfield standards

  • Troubleshoot issues in automation systems including PLCs VFDs and controls

  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical components

  • Lead and mentor apprentices fostering a culture of safety and collaboration

  • Support automation upgrades and cross-functional project teams

  • Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals

  • Maintain accurate documentation and respond to emergency repairs as needed

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license

  • 5 years of electrical experience in oil and gas or heavy industry

  • Solid knowledge of NEC OSHA and oilfield safety standards

  • Proficiency in PLCs VFDs and industrial control systems

  • Ability to read schematics and work in physically demanding environments

  • Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills

  • Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime and on-call shifts

Preferred

  • Experience in hazardous environments (Class I Div 1/2)

  • Familiarity with SCADA systems

  • OSHA 10/30 certification
