OurOpportunity
NEPEAN Power is currently seeking an apprentice electrician to join the team. This opportunity is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Thornton NSW. Daily duties will include however are not limited to;
- Interpret Electrical Schematics and scopes of work
- Control and power wiring of electrical equipment
- Fault finding and function testing of electrical equipment
- AS3800 level overhaul of intrinsically safe control equipment
- Providing high quality workmanship on time and on budget
- Maintain calibration of test equipment
- Ensure all equipment machinery and tooling is kept in good working order
- Document control and progress reporting
- Liaise with supervisor to set priorities and meet deadlines

- A drivers licence
- Completed or are completing your HSC or a Pre-Apprenticeship course
- A genuine interest in the electrical trade
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
