Job Summary
Hooks Meng & Clement (HMC) is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing Las Vegas office. Our firm specializes in Industrial Litigation representing a diverse clientele including employers insurers and third-party administrators.

- Draft legal documents and correspondence as well as conduct thorough legal research on each case.
- Strategize and plan with clients and cases ensuring meticulous attention to detail in every case.
- Make sure that case files are up-to-date and organized by daily use of the electronic case management system Filevine.
- Build and maintain strong long-lasting client relationships not just representation.
- Paying attention to industry trends and developments while staying informed on Nevada statutes and regulations.
- Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment and under multiple deadlines.
- Must be able to meet or exceed the monthly billing requirement.
- Daily use of electronic legal billing software (Clio).
- Member is in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
- Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Adaptable flexible and dependable.
- Strategize and work collaboratively on a team but also work independently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases with multiple deadlines.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Careful and deliberate in planning and strategizing with clients.
- This is an in-office position so you must live in the Southern Nevada area.
