Job Description

Datwyler IT Infrais an internationally established company with its headquarters in Switzerland and affiliates in Europe the Middle East and Asia. Datwyler supplies premium quality system solutions products and services for data centres fibre networks (Campus FTTx) and smart buildings. The company has been founded more than 100 years ago and employs some 950 people.

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level and second-level IT support for internal users across different locations.
- Handle incoming support requests via phone email and ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues efficiently.
- Escalate complex incidents to the appropriate technical teams when necessary.
- Assist with user account management (Active Directory email access rights).
- Support the rollout of IT updates patches and hardware replacements.
- Maintain clear documentation of support cases and solutions.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
- Conduct basic user training and provide guidance on IT best practices.
Your Profile:
- Completed education in IT or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in IT support or a helpdesk environment is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (both required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Windows OS Microsoft 365 and basic network troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours to support international teams.
