Job Description

13-26 week contract offering! *36 or 48Hrs accepted*. Preference for 48 hours. Critical Care FLOAT (likely float Forsyth Medical Center mainly but could also float to other locations- ICU Cardiac ICU Neuro ICU Surgical ICU potentially intermediate units on 5W and 1st floor ICCU). Call Required. Float Required: CICU ICU-Neuro Intermediate and/or stood up critical care locations. Weekend coverage every other weekend. CRISIS FLOATING EXPECTATION: required to float as needed (likely float FMC mainly but could do Clemmons or Kernersville too). Patient Population: Sepsis ARDS COPD post arrest surgical patients. Critical patients with diagnosis including sepsis ARDS COPD post arrest surgical patients and other multi-system complex medical conditions involving high level care. NIGHTS RATIOS 2:1 1:1 3:1. Medication System Pyxis. Documentation System EPIC. Communication SBAR. Special equipment: CRRT Artic Sun NICOM Cortrak IABP. Skill Required: Vents IV Start Telemetry. Preferred Skills: PA Lines. Certifications Required: ACLS BCLS and NIH. Preferred CCRN. Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years. Will they accept a 1st time traveler NO. Orientation 24 hours. Scrubs Navy and white.
