Why this role matters
The Project Coordinator plays a key role in delivering strategic initiatives and enhancing the student experience across UNSW Canberra. Working within the Student Life and Experience Portfolio you will coordinate and support a range of projects programs and events that improve educational services and student engagement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a positive impact on student life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and evaluating student-focused projects services and events across both UNSW Canberra campuses
- Developing and managing communication campaigns including newsletters intranet and website content
- Analysing and reporting on data to inform improvements in student experience
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with students staff and external partners
- Identifying and implementing process improvements across the portfolio
- Ensuring compliance with university policies including health and safety
About you
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in project coordination student experience or a related field
- Bring strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Demonstrate the ability to manage complex tasks and deliver accurate reporting and analysis
- Be proficient in digital tools and systems (experience in higher education systems is desirable)
- Have a proactive solutions-focused mindset with a passion for enhancing student outcomes
Eligibility
The successful candidate will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including verification of qualifications criminal history identification and Australian work rights. Please note: Australian citizenship may be required due to the nature of the role and its engagement with Defence.
