Job Description
What youll do & learn
During your apprenticeship youll be part of the HR team to help support a values-driven culture. Youll assist with initiatives that empower employees to grow stay engaged and connect with the companys purpose. Youll also help deliver programs that align people development with the companys vision and goals.
Heres how youll contribute and grow:
Foster a positive inclusive and collaborative work environment:
- Take part in initiatives that promote diversity inclusion and well-being.
- Help roll out and monitor mental health and wellness programs.
- Be a supportive listener and share ideas to improve the employee experience.
Support the implementation of employee development programs:
- Help design and launch skills development plans tailored to individual needs and Pelicos strategic goals always working closely with your tutor.
- Support the coordination of professional interviews and training plans ensuring quality and follow-up.
- Help the HR team promote career growth and internal mobility through various people development initiatives.
- Contribute to building a culture of feedback and performance by helping develop tools and best practices that boost team motivation and engagement.
Promote and embody the companys values:
- Help organize workshops and discussions around our values and culture.
- Assist in creating engaging content such as newsletters videos or posters to highlight core values.
- Encourage teams to embrace values during onboarding performance reviews and recognition moments.
Strengthen employee engagement through cultural and community initiatives
- Plan fun internal events like team-building activities afterworks and challenges.
- Gather feedback from teammates and suggest improvements to boost engagement.
Learn and Explore Best Practices
- Contribute to research on HR trends and culture topics.
- Share your insights to help the team continuously improve our HR approach.

What you embody
- Youre currently studying (ideally a Masters in HR Business or a related field) and looking for hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment.
- Youre curious motivated and eager to grow in a hands-on HR role.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills: empathetic active listening and collaborative.
- Youre organized reliable and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Youre able to design or contribute to engaging communication materials (presentations newsletters videos etc.).
- You feel comfortable analyzing basic data (like survey results) to identify trends and suggest ideas.
- Youre familiar with HR processes like onboarding or performance reviews.
- Youre fluent in English.
