Were looking for a Junior Operations Manager with 2 to 5 years of experience of first experience ready to take on responsibility progressively and grow into the full scope of managing five production sites in Flanders (annual turnover of 30 million).
You will report directly to the Division Director and receive tailored coaching and exposure to prepare you for full autonomy over time. It will be a fantastic opportunity to learn on the job using your current skills and building your next ones with great mentors!
Operations Optimization
Assist in the supervision of production across five sites and gradually take the lead with the support of Site Managers.
Build operational synergies with Sales to align productivity and business goals.
Contribute to people development by supporting recruitment and training in collaboration with HR.
Lead or co-lead modernization and process improvement projects.
Support and progressively manage the operational budget aiming for performance and cost control.
Maintenance & Performance
Work with the Maintenance Coordinator and mobile technical team.
Oversee and progressively take charge of the preventive and corrective maintenance roadmap.
Monitor the maintenance budget and support investment planning across the sites.
Safety & Excellence
Promote a zero accident culture by leading or co-leading safety initiatives.
Conduct regular site audits with QHSE and Prevention Advisors to ensure compliance.
Be a key player in embedding safety sustainability and quality in daily operations.
Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience.
Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial operations or production
Strong field orientation and team engagement mindset.
First experience in leading people or operational teams is a strong asset.
Fluent in Dutch and able to work in French.
Willing to travel frequently across the Flemish region.
