Overview and nbsp;
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven and nbsp;Senior Product Manager and nbsp;to lead the planning development and delivery of high-impact products. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing product requirements collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring the timely delivery of features and enhancements that meet organizational goals. This role requires a deep understanding of product management methodologies strong leadership skills and a passion for leveraging technology to revolutionize public service delivery. Join us in transforming how government services are accessed and experienced by businesses across the state. and nbsp;Additionally the Senior Product Manager will mentor a junior Product Manager providing guidance and fostering their development within the team. and nbsp;

Key deliverables will include: and nbsp;
- Product Roadmap Development: and nbsp;
- Create and maintain a strategic product roadmap detailing feature releases enhancements and long-term product vision. and nbsp;
- Feature Prioritization: and nbsp;
- Prioritize features based on their impact value and feasibility balancing short-term needs with the long-term product strategy. and nbsp;
- Project Management: and nbsp;
- Coordinate cross-functional teams manage timelines and ensure alignment with project goals and organizational objectives. and nbsp;
- Risk Management: and nbsp;
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure successful product delivery and alignment with organizational standards. and nbsp;
- Stakeholder Communication: and nbsp;
- Facilitate regular updates and feedback sessions with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the product lifecycle. and nbsp;
- Mentorship and Team Development: and nbsp;
- Mentor and collaborate with junior Product Managers providing guidance on best practices and helping them grow in their roles.
- Foster a collaborative environment to ensure team development and knowledge sharing. and nbsp;
and nbsp;
The Consultant will also be required to: and nbsp;
- Complete work and achieve milestones within the assigned deadlines. and nbsp;
- Notify the Cluster/Ministry Project Manager in writing of any issues or material concerns related to the Assignment Deliverables as soon as they become aware of them. and nbsp;
- Submit Deliverables for the Cluster/Ministry approval as they are completed. and nbsp;
- Comply with the and nbsp;Ontario Government and nbsp;and and nbsp;Cluster/Ministry security procedures and practices. and nbsp;
- Comply with the Ontario Government and Cluster/Ministry and nbsp;architecture/technology standards and nbsp;and and nbsp;best practices. and nbsp;
- Adhere to the and nbsp;Ontario Government Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Guidelines. and nbsp;
- Provide and nbsp;knowledge transfer and nbsp;and and nbsp;skill development and nbsp;to designated Cluster/Ministry staff as part of the project delivery process. and nbsp;
- Follow the and nbsp;Ontario Government I and amp;IT Directive Operational Policy on the I and amp;IT Project Gateway Process and other applicable Guidelines Standards and Procedures. and nbsp;
Skills
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
1. Project Management Experience: 50 and nbsp;
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex multi-phase projects in a regulated or public sector environment. and nbsp;
- Proven ability to meet project timelines deliverables and budgets especially on multi-year multi-million-dollar projects. and nbsp;
- Skilled in identifying assessing and mitigating risks that could impact project timelines budget or deliverables. and nbsp;
- Proven track record in managing project scope and controlling scope creep effectively. and nbsp;
- Familiarity with Ontario Public Sector project management standards including PMO Stage Gate process ITIL process and compliance documentation. and nbsp;
- Knowledge of structured methodologies including Agile and Scrum. and nbsp;
2. Technical Skills and amp; Tool Proficiency: 20 and nbsp;
- Proficiency in using project management software (Jira Trello Azure DevOps Microsoft Project) for tracking and managing project progress. and nbsp;
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro Microsoft Teams and Confluence for seamless cross-functional team coordination. and nbsp;
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud platform and knowledge of cloud-based deployment. and nbsp;
- Familiarity with Agile DevOps and product development methodologies as they pertain to project management. and nbsp;
- Experience creating and managing essential project documentation such as project roadmaps business cases and impact assessments. and nbsp;
- Ability to produce clear comprehensive reports and status updates for stakeholders and senior executives. and nbsp;
3. Communication and amp; Stakeholder Engagement: 20 and nbsp;
- Strong communication skills for reporting presentations and stakeholder engagement particularly at the executive level. and nbsp;
- Proven ability to clearly and effectively present project updates risks and results in a concise and user-friendly manner. and nbsp;
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. and nbsp;
- Skilled in facilitating meetings gathering feedback and ensuring alignment among diverse project teams. and nbsp;
4. Leadership and amp; Soft Skills: 10 and nbsp;
- Experience in mentoring and guiding team members promoting a collaborative team environment. and nbsp;
- Proven capability to foster teamwork knowledge sharing and mutual support within the project team. and nbsp;
- Strong analytical skills to address project challenges with effective actionable solutions. and nbsp;
- Ability to adapt to changing project demands and resources while maintaining focus on key deliverables. and nbsp;
Must Have:
- Experience delivery in a tight deadline and high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills leading and hands-on exp.
