Job Description
We re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our construction team in Newark. The ideal candidate brings 7 10 years of experience including hands-on work as a Site Engineer and has a strong track record managing large-scale construction projects from planning through closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of construction projects: pre-construction execution and closeout.
- Manage project schedules budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee project teams including Assistant and Associate Project Managers.
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and environmental regulations.
- Liaise with clients consultants subcontractors and vendors.
- Handle RFIs change orders procurement and closeout documentation.
- Conduct regular site visits and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Use project management software to track progress and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering Construction Management Architecture or related field.
- PMP certification or a relevant Master s degree.
- Prior experience as a Site Engineer is required.
- Strong understanding of building codes contracts and construction regulations.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Requirements Educational Level/Required Certificates: Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field. Experience 3-5+ years of experience working with BIM, preferably in project coordination or management.
