Rest require a Senior Test Analyst with extensive experience in test planning stakeholder management and both manual and automated testing. Proficient in designing Test Plans and Test Cases with minimal documentation and skilled in data/ETL testing across various phases. Possesses advanced SQL skills and deep knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics systems with a strong ability to quickly adapt and contribute positively to projects.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases focused on data accuracy completeness integrity and quality.
- Validate data integrity data transformations aggregations and business rules.
- Perform functional integration and regression testing to ensure correctness of the analytical reports
- Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with the automation team to implement automated tests using appropriate tools eg: DBT Python Snowflake SQL
- Coordinate and manage test execution activities ensuring they align with the Project delivery goals and timelines. In addition oversee the creation review and management of test cases in Zephyr Defect Management in Jira ensuring they cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Work closely with Data Scrum Masters Investment Product Owners Developers and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on testing goals and regularly communicate test progress risks and issues to project stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment.
Qualifications :
- Tertiary qualifications in technology.
- Formal QA certifications relevant to the role.
Required experience understanding or credentials including:
- Proven 5 years of experience as a Senior Test Analyst.
- Should be familiar with ingestion Conformed / Transformed Layers Models and Reporting layer testing
- Hands-on experience with testing different transformation patterns in Data warehouse like SCD
- Should be able to interpret Source to Target mapping document and convert them to required testing queries.
- Ability to validate data visualizations and reports in Power BI ensuring accurate dashboard representation.
- Familiarity with financial datasets reporting and regulatory requirements relevant to investment firms.
- Proven experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong SQL skills and technical analysis.
- Exposure to Snowflake and Atlan (data catalogue).
- Hands-on experience with DBT Data Build Tool
- Python scripting experience is must with exposure to pytest and pandas libraries.
- Demonstrated experience in performing end-to-end testing in accordance with an established Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Expertise with Test management tools such as Zephyr/JIRA and Confluence tools
