Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Tax Analyst 2through September 25 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (Buenos Aires Time).

Main Activities:

  • Manage most complex account reconciliations. Address corrective measures that may also impact other teams. Prepare fluctuation analysis (P&L B/S payments).
  • Analysis of accounting data and inventory gains/losses for tax reporting purposes.
  • Conduct research for more complicated tax questions and contacts tax authorities for clarification as needed.
  • Lead communication with business partners on issue/discrepancies resolutions.
  • Review Chevron customers taxability application based on tax law and business to ensure compliance.
  • Leads coordinates and collaborates on special projects as well as review regulations and procedures.
  • Tax returns preparation/supports the filing of tax returns.
  • Tax determination on customers billing.
  • Understanding of regulations and business an accounting acumen.
  • Supporting internal and external audits.
  • ERP/tax applications and databases maintenance.

Required Qualification/Soft Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in accounting business finance or tax
  • Combination of 4 years of tax accounting finance and/or audit experience Excellent oral/written English skills
  • Fluent in ERP/Tax systems or tax applications. Utilizes knowledge of work group systems to assist on enhancements and development projects. Preferred qualifications in system implementation (SAP)

Preferred qualifications:

  • US or International Direct and Indirect tax experience
  • Soft skills: coordination/Leadership skills
  • Analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Able to adapt processes in response to a fast-paced environment.
