Job Description
The Logistics & Transport Manager is an integral member of our Global Logistics & Transport Team supporting all KVI entities and Business Units (BUs) with transportation and logistics inquiries. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations managing transportation partners and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet the needs of various projects both in the tendering and execution phases.
Main responsibilities are:
- Lead Logistics Operations Manage daily transport and logistics for large projects including strategy RFQs planning and execution
- Vendor & Cost Management Select negotiate and coordinate with logistics partners for efficient and cost-effective shipping solutions
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with project teams engineering and customs compliance to meet transport and logistics requirements
- Process & Compliance Oversight Resolve customs issues improve logistics processes and ensure supply chain efficiency and legal compliance
- Strategic & Budgeting Support Provide logistics insights support project budgeting and contribute to dispute resolution and claim management
Qualifications :
- Experience in the execution of oversized transports preferably in EPC projects or similar sectors
- Working experience in international logistics and managing supply chains across multiple regions (e.g. Asia Europe and the Americas) or as a Freight Forwarder
- Higher education in transport logistics or supply chain management
- Very good negotiation skills attention to detail ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Excellent English skills (minimum B2 level) other languages an advantage
