Job Description

The Director of Tire Replenishment is responsible for leading a Team that is responsible for a specific group or category of products within our company. They analyze industry and consumer trends develop strategies and oversee pricing promotion and product range management to maximize sales and profitability. They work with the teams to understand the market information while maximizing consumer appeal. This position reports to the Senior Director Supply Chain and Category Management.


Compensation:  The salary range for this role is $130000 - $145000 annually.  This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.  Pay will be determined based on experience level.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
  • Devise long-term development strategies for all product categories
  • Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
  • Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
  • Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility to increase sales and GMROI
  • Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive promotional activities of a product category
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales legal Inventory and senior management to ensure all levels are aware of everything necessary within your job functions.
  • Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
  • Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category
  • Increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business administration pricing or related field.
  • Two or more years in the auto parts tires or auto service (retail) industry.
  • Ability to use MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).  Advanced level of Excel knowledge required.
  • Strong communication and phone skills. 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven experience as pricing Director/Leader or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of Pricing concepts and driving results from a team.
  • Understanding of data analysis and opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills: ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff and management as well as external vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and change focus quickly to meet business needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team while driving for results
  • Strategic thinker with solid knowledge of Pricing concepts
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office applications and the ability to learn new and existing company specific software applications.
  • Ability to read analyze and interpret business documents project management reports etc.
  • Ability to take initiative and identify problems and corrective action/solutions as needed.
  • Responsible for pricing strategy the stores and leadership to ensure we maximize sales turns & GMROI.
  • Extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment as well as see opportunities and offer solutions or options.
  • Need to have a commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers scanners and fax machines.  Position requires prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
