Job Description

General Statement of Job

Processes all types of admissions application and prospect forms including application fees and maintains accurate admission files on each applicant. Transcript evaluations and reports management.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Processes all applications and incoming transcripts.
  • Processes imports of new prospects and leads into the Salesforce CRM.
  • Downloads and processes Common App student applications.
  • Responsible for building/modifying admissions reports as needed.
  • Routinely reviews application data for missing documents required to complete the application process.
  • Oversees banner document management for newly admitted students.
  • Places and monitors admissions holds on student accounts.
  • Verifies data transfer in Axiom between TargetX and Banner.
  • Assisting other campus departments with student admission and enrollment issues.
  • Assists with the MKEAP application process.
  • Downloads ACT score files and imports them to TargetX.
  • Performs all duties timely with a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Regularly inspects the orgs data to make sure it is accurate by utilizing Demand Tools.
  • Resolves duplicate records in TargetX by utilizing Demand Tools.
  • Responsible for census clean-up of Admissions data each semester.
  • Assists with Salesforce Administrator including but not limited to online application management major updates updating degree seeking status on student records creating applications for special student populations such as MOSO Caps and Upward Bound and processing of approved residency change requests.
  • Works with the Office of the Registrar to coordinate and oversee electronic process for incoming official student transcripts.

Education Experience and Licenses

Bachelors degree or higher required (or with equivalent amount of completed college credits). Minimum 6-12 months experience working in a fast paced detail - oriented position required with strong technical background and or ability to learn quickly. Knowledge of Salesforce/TargetX strongly preferred.

One to two years related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to write correspondence for mail email and texting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts and information to staff and students.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in regard to data personnel and other pertinent information.
  • Ability to manage time and projects to ensure that everything is completed as required.
  • Must pay close attention to details and accurately execute tasks.
