We are hiring a Senior Manager of Wholesale Sales Operations to join our Wholesale team and lead the operational backbone of our fast-growing wholesale channel. Reporting to the Director of Wholesale this role will take Away further by driving flawless execution across order management inventory allocation and retailer compliance in turn ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and accurately while supporting the channels rapid scale.
Order & Systems Management
Youll own end-to-end wholesale order entry and tracking ensuring accuracy and timeliness across EDI and ERP systems
Youll ensure compliance with retailer routing guides shipping windows and labeling requirements to minimize chargebacks
Youll manage SKU setup product data pricing updates and availability across wholesale systems and portals
Youll develop tools and trackers that improve visibility and accountability across the order lifecycle
Youll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Sales Planning Logistics 3PLs) to problem-solve order exceptions or fulfillment delays
Inventory Allocation & Fulfillment
Youll partner with Planning and Logistics teams to maintain healthy stock levels balancing wholesale demand with inventory constraints
Youll own the seasonal allocation and delivery calendar ensuring account expectations are met while protecting broader inventory health
Youll track order status and delivery compliance to proactively identify and resolve issues with our 3PL
Youll help coordinate seasonal sell-in and reorder execution enabling Account Executives to focus on growth
Reporting & Process Improvement
Youll build and maintain reporting dashboards across bookings shipments and account performance
Youll identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and implement process improvements to scale the business with speed and accuracy
Youll support post-season analysis and channel recaps including returns and shipping performance
Account Onboarding & Setup
Youll project manage the onboarding of new wholesale accounts ensuring a seamless and compliant launch experience
Youll create onboarding checklists and timelines for each account tracking against internal and external deadlines
Youll coordinate cross-functional partners (Sales EDI Logistics Finance) to ensure all systems and processes are set up ahead of time
Youll ensure initial orders ship on-time in-full and in compliance setting a strong foundation for future growth
You have a dedicated amount of experience in wholesale operations demand planning or sales support within a fast-paced CPG or retail environment; experience at the Managerial level required in order to drive business goals forward
Youre highly organized and detail-oriented with deep familiarity with systems like Microsoft D365 JOOR/NuOrder SPS Commerce or similar
You love solving operational puzzles and know how to build a process where there isnt any
Youve worked with 3PLs and understand how to hold partners accountable to SLAs and timelines
You have strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and can translate complex data into actionable insights
Youre a team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and youre always looking for ways to help others move faster and smarter
Youre energized by speed precision and the satisfaction of running a channel that just works

Compensation: $135000.00 annually
This role is eligible to participate in Aways Annual Company Performance Incentive Bonus Plan the terms of which are determined at the discretion of the company
Equity Grant: commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company

This is an office-based position that works from our Soho NYC office four days a week. Our working hours are 9am-6pm et but we embrace a common-sense approach to flexibility in the workplace. Its about being present engaged and balancing work with real-life needs.
