Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Attorney to join our growing Labor and Employment Law practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a new attorney eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment and make a meaningful difference for employees facing workplace challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in representing employees in a broad range of labor and employment matters including wage and hour discrimination harassment and wrongful termination cases
- Draft pleadings discovery and legal memoranda
- Participate in client meetings depositions and court appearances under senior attorney supervision
- Support trial preparation and when appropriate contribute to trial or settlement proceedings
- Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented in-office setting
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar (or eligibility for admission)
- 2-3 years of experience in employment law preferred
- Strong research writing and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Demonstrated interest in labor and employment law
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $125000 $175000 annually commensurate with experience
- Bonuses: Additional compensation potential based on case outcomes (e.g. favorable settlements or verdicts)
