AGC Multi Material America Inc. (AMMA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of AGC Inc. a $14 billion multinational corporation and one of the worlds largest manufacturers of glass electronics chemicals and ceramic products.

AMMA is a globally advanced materials company which develops and manufactures super high-end CCL (Copper Clad Laminate) for the next-generation high-speed communication business field. AMMA provides high value add products of dielectric substrates for high frequency electronics such as 5G Automotive Radar High Speed Telecom and Aerospace & Avionics Radar/Communication industries.

SUMMARY
The HR Generalist will support approximately 120 employees within our division. This role is responsible for a wide range of HR functions including employee recruitment employee relations benefits administration salary analysis E-Verify HR file management and payroll interface. The HR Generalist will work closely with the management team to ensure all HR initiatives align with the divisions goals and the broader organizational objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Employee Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings candidate screening interviewing and onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns mediate conflicts and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary
  • Benefits Administration: Performs administration of benefits in conjunction with the corporate HR team including claims resolution change reporting approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Salary Analysis: Conduct salary surveys and analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment eligibility verification. Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations. Maintains compliance with federal state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • HR Files: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Payroll Interface: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Planning and execution of special events: such as benefits enrollment organization-wide meetings employee recognition events holiday parties and retirement celebrations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in HR roles preferably in a similar capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to read write and verbally communicate effectively in the English language is required for all roles.

REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT/TRAINING
AGC follows all required OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standard industry guidelines in-regards to the use of personal protective equipment and safety training required for the specific job function.
