About the Role:
Were on the lookout for a vibrant and passionate Senior Crche Educator to bring our crche programs to life. Youll be crafting exciting educational experiences that keep little ones engaged and smiling. From ensuring top-notch care and supervision to delivering stellar customer service youll be a key player in making sure every child (and parent) walk away happy. If youre ready to turn playtime into learning time wed love to have you on board!
Our Creches operate Monday Friday 9am 12pm you will be required to work from 8-1pm a total of 25 hours per week.
Our creches are closed for 2-3 weeks during the Xmas period and on all public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality educational and engaging crche programs
- Ensure the safety and supervision of all children in the crche
- Maintain compliance with WLS requirements and State regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to children and parents
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their childs progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean safe and organized crche environment
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve the quality of our programs
- Assist the Creche Coordinator in rostering and maintaining budgets
Skills And Experiences
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Knowledge of WLS requirements and State regulations for child care services
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with parents and children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and implement engaging and educational activities for children
- Provide First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Childrens Employee Required
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow
- A knowledge of safeguarding children legislation
- Knowledge of PG booking system an advantage
- Current Police Check or willing to obtain
