Youll lead strategic hiring efforts build strong partnerships across our affiliates and develop thoughtful approaches to attract qualified diverse talent. In this role youll oversee the recruitment team collaborate with hiring managers to meet evolving talent needs and drive initiatives that expand and diversify our candidate pipeline. Youll also manage applicant tracking processes and ensure compliance with all relevant employment regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage daily assignments and workflow of direct reports while providing guidance to HR staff on complex or specialized issues.
- Lead by example driving a values-based culture while shaping and executing strategies that advance long-term organizational success.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement sustainable internal and external recruitment plans strategies and initiatives to ensure the recruitment and retention of staff that supports the business goals of each affiliate.
- Manage recruitment efforts including experienced and university hiring while training team members on sourcing and candidate pipeline development.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand market-specific business goals and talent needs while educating and coaching hiring staff on behavioral interviewing guidelines and techniques.
- Ensure team execution of selection processes including screening interviewing and assessment of candidates acting as a liaison between candidates and management throughout the process.
- Create clear compelling job advertisements and partner with marketing to enhance employer branding through creative messaging and social media.
- Develop and manage relationships with external recruiting agencies including negotiating agreements overseeing performance and ensuring cost benefit relationships are effective.
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) leverage data analytic tools and provide on-going recruitment metrics to leadership and for compliance efforts.
- Oversee new hire onboarding to ensure successful employee integration.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in human resources or a related field AND 7 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience directly or indirectly supervising HR staff with increasing responsibility.
- Experience using ATS ClearCompany preferred.
Technical Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to strategically leverage and foster relationships at all levels to drive collaboration and advance organizational goals.
- Ability to coach leadership and employees in key HR practices to navigate workplace challenges drive effective decision-making and mitigate risks.
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional HR programs and initiatives from strategy through execution ensuring alignment with organizational goals managing competing priorities and delivering results with a focus on quality and impact.
- Proven ability to lead the strategic use of HR systems and databases including overseeing system optimization interpreting complex data to drive workforce strategies and leading teams in data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of employment law and affirmative action standards with the ability to ensure organizational compliance by proactively addressing reporting requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and partner with various levels of management and staff.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Travel:
- Occasional travel for recruiting events and to regional offices as applicable.
