Paxcroft Primary School is looking to appoint a part-time School Admin Assistant on a permanent contract to support in the School Office on a Thursday and Friday.
This is an exciting post within our busy School Office and you will be part of a friendly hardworking and supportive team.
The post is central to school life and is highly valued. You will be required to welcome and direct visitors and deal with a wide variety of administrative and secretarial tasks. You will need to be an excellent communicator proactive in your work well organised approachable and have the ability to multitask as no two days are the same. A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and prior experience in an administrative/clerical role is essential and experience of working in a school and familiarity with school based systems is an advantage but not essential.
The Admin Assistant is directly supervised by the Office Manager and reports to the School Business Manager both of whom will direct duties according to the schools needs on any given day.
