Job Description
Systems Engineer Level 4
This position requires an active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph clearance or the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Cherokee Preting is seeking an exceptionally qualified detail-oriented individual to serve as the Systems Engineer supporting our Defense Intelligence Agency client.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Systems Engineer Level 4: $155000.00 - $200000.00
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical Dental Vision 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Systems Engineer Level 4 Responsibilities Include:
- Supports the development of cross functional or large-scale automated information systems to include enterprise architectures
- Designs system architectures to include the software hardware and communications to support the total requirements and provides for present and future cross functional requirements and interfaces
- Provides comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance
- Performs evaluation of system alternatives and assessment of risks and costs
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Systems Engineer Level 4 Experience Education Skills Abilities requested:
- Active TS/SCI with the willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph
- Must meet one of the following:
- High School Diploma or GED and 16 years of relevant experience
- Associates degree and 14 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree and 12 years of relevant experience
- Masters degree and 10 years of relevant experience
- PhD and 8 years of relevant experience
- Current IAT Level 2 Compliant Certification
- Demonstrated working knowledge of public key infrastructure and encryption systems
- Ability to provide effective engineering and O&M support to enable the organization to deliver IT services to users
- Ability to manage the applications technology and infrastructure that support the delivery of IT services
- Ability to integrate certify deploy and support the DoDIIS Enterprise Windows and Solaris software baselines
- Ability to provide software/systems integration technical documentation functional training and technology insertion tasks to provide and/or support IT product and services
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
