ING Australia is on the search for Lead DevTest Engineer to join the team! Reporting to the IT Area lead youll enhance existing or build new test frameworks for Tribes and provide guidance around solving problems.
In this position lead the creation of testing strategy taking into consideration process technologies frameworks process and roles and a range of maturity in test automation adoption.

What youll do
Build maintain and enhance test automation scripts and frameworks including infrastructure test data and execution practices.
Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans proactively identifying potential issues and implementing corrective action plans to ensure quality and efficiency.
Lead testing efforts across projects through effective planning scheduling oversight and execution.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices and drive value-adding initiatives.
Manage personal responsibilities while also building and nurturing a high-performing testing team.
What are we looking for
Strong programming skills in Java and C# with a focus on API testing and API test automation using Java.
Skilled in Agile methodologies with a deep understanding of functional regression and acceptance testing.
Experienced in implementingtest automation reporting frameworksandtrend analysis strategies.
Familiarity with events streaming tools e.g. Kafka
Skilled in defining effectivetest data management strategieswithin CI/CD environments.
Hands-on experience withperformance testingusingJMeter.
Strong advocate ofTDD (Test-Driven Development)andBDD (Behavior-Driven Development)practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Tertiary qualification in computer science or a related discipline.
