A fast-growing innovative medical device company is seeking an experienced and growth-oriented Deal Desk Manager to collaborate cross-functionally and provide strategic expertise that enables long- and short-term contracted partnerships. This is a high-impact role supporting sales pricing contracting and operational efficiency across the organization.
The Deal Desk Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and streamlining the deal lifecycle across sales finance legal and operations teams. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in deal structuring order intake and contract compliance with experience supporting sales teams in a medtech or life sciences environment particularly with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
Partner with the sales team to review and structure complex deal proposals aligned with pricing strategies and company policies.
Provide pricing guidance and approvals for a range of contract types.
Serve as liaison between sales finance legal and operations to ensure seamless deal .
Manage the end-to-end order intake process ensuring accuracy documentation alignment and timely entry into internal systems.
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve order fulfillment discrepancies and ensure on-time delivery.
Oversee relationships with GPOs and IDNs to align pricing contract terms and fulfillment requirements.
Support contract negotiations and compliance with established frameworks to optimize value for both customers and the company.
Monitor market trends and partnership opportunities within GPOs and IDNs.
Build and refine deal desk processes to support rapid growth and drive operational scalability.
Implement best practices for order intake deal review and workflow approvals using CRM and ERP systems.
Continuously evaluate and improve process consistency and efficiency.
Ensure all deals adhere to internal policies regulatory standards and contractual requirements.
Partner with legal and compliance teams on contract negotiation renewal and documentation.
Prepare and facilitate Pricing Committee review processes as needed.
Analyze deal and order data to identify trends pricing opportunities and process improvements.
Generate reports and insights to support strategic business decisions.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure deal desk success.
Act as a strategic advisor to sales leadership on deal structure pricing and GPO/IDN dynamics.
Coordinate with finance on forecasting revenue recognition and margin analysis.
Partner with operations to ensure accurate post-deal and fulfillment.
Bachelor s degree in Business Finance or a related discipline.
8 years of experience in deal desk sales operations or similar roles within the medtech or life sciences sectors.
Expertise in pricing strategy contract negotiation sales cycle management and order intake processes.
Demonstrated experience managing GPO and IDN partnerships and compliance.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional organizational analytical and project management skills.
Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret data tied to profitability order accuracy and compliance.
Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities across teams and stakeholders.
