Job Description
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays CT scans MRIs and ultrasounds.
- Analyze and interpret medical imaging results accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
- Provide clear concise reports and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for radiological practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiological technology and techniques.
- Assist in developing protocols and guidelines for imaging procedures.
- Participate in clinical consultations for patient management plans.
- Supervise and mentor junior radiology staff and medical students.
- Manage patient interactions and ensure a compassionate care environment.
- Engage in quality assurance practices to optimize radiological outcomes.
- Conduct research projects related to radiology and present findings at conferences.
- Maintain precise documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.
- Develop educational materials and sessions for continuous staff training.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies.
- MD or DNB in Radiodiagnosis.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
- Current registration with the Medical Council of India.
- Strong knowledge of all imaging modalities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
- Experience in mentoring and teaching medical trainees.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex imaging studies.
- Aptitude for handling emergency situations with calmness and accuracy.
- Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and standards.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Understanding of patient privacy regulations and ethical standards.
