Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled XML Development Lead with 3-4 years of experience to design develop and maintain XML-based applications and solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in XML technologies transformation techniques and integration with enterprise applications. Knowledge of Oracle databases and related technologies will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of XML-based applications and data processing solutions.
- Work with XSLT XSD XPath and XQuery to transform and validate XML documents.
- Ensure seamless integration of XML with databases APIs and enterprise applications.
- Optimize XML data processing for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve XML-related issues in existing applications.
- Maintain technical documentation for XML standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with XML XSLT XSD XPath and XQuery.
- Experience with XML parsing and processing using Java Python or .NET.
- Knowledge of SOAP & RESTful web services and integration with XML.
- Familiarity with XML databases (e.g. MarkLogic BaseX) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle database knowledge (PL/SQL XML DB Oracle Fusion Middleware Oracle Integration Cloud) would be an added advantage.
- Experience with Java Python or .NET frameworks for XML processing.
- Understanding of ETL tools and data transformation workflows.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) is a plus.
