About Experian & ESS: Experians Employee Self-Service (ESS) team delivers innovative solutions that empower employees and drive operational excellence. We value collaboration continuous improvement and a diverse inclusive culture.

Role Overview: As Product Owner for the ESS team you will translate business needs into clear requirements prioritize the product backlog and guide the team to deliver impactful solutions. Youll work closely with stakeholders engineers and end-users to ensure ESS products are user-friendly scalable and aligned with Experians strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and prioritize product requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain and refine the product backlog ensuring clarity and alignment with ESS goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
  • Define and communicate product vision goals and success metrics.
  • Facilitate regular backlog grooming sprint planning and review sessions.
  • Ensure user stories are clear inclusive and actionable for the development team.
  • Advocate for user experience accessibility and continuous product improvement.
  • Track product performance and gather feedback for future enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years experience as a Product Owner Business Analyst or similar role in software development.
  • Reporting to your Lead Product Owner
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear actionable tasks.
  • Commitment to diversity equity and inclusion in product development.
